How long would you say it would take to produce and record a full length album?

Ailee, an artist based in South Korea stated that her album that came out in 2019 (ButterFLY) took about 2 or so years to produce. Some songs in the album are produced by her whilst other are produced by producers. Is this an actual realistic outcome or do albums take less time to make?
