COVID-19: No university is at high risk, says Nzimande


JOHANNESBURG – Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande says no institutions are considered high risk at the moment.

He says seven institutions are medium risk while 19 are at low risk.

The minister further stated that at least 12,000 students and staff have been trained to manage COVID-19 in universities.

Nzimande says universities are now ready to accommodate 100-percent of students.

He gave an update on their attempts to keep COVID-19 at bay.
