Pitso Mosimane could take several of his backroom staff with him to his next destination after insiders at Chloorkop confirmed he’s quit Mamelodi Sundowns.
There’s been no official word yet from the club following a report in local media that ‘Jingles’ has handed in his resignation and been immediately linked with a move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly, who, along with Zamalek, are huge admirers.

Siya sources have suggested Mosimane is already in talks with some of his backroom staff members over the possibility of joining him at his next big project on the continent.
The news comes as a shock, given Downs were expected back in training today to start preparing for the new season, which is expected to kick off in mid-October.
Mosimane had also recently agreed a new lucrative contract with Sundowns to remain in charge for another four years, with a reported package of R1-million per month.
Earlier this month, the coach successfully delivered a treble for the club when Downs claimed the Telkom Knockout, Nedbank Cup and the Absa Premiership.
It was his fifth championship trophy in nearly eight years since he arrived at Chloorkop to replace Dutchman Johan Neeskens.
Mosimane, who has an army of assistant coaches, analysts and more hands as his support staff, is understood to be keen on recruiting a few of them at Al Ahly, or wherever his next destination will be.
The Egyptians were meant to make a decision on their coach Rene Weiler by tomorrow, but reports in North Africa suggesting he has already been sacked.
