[Question] Is ‘Celtic music’ we can find on Youtube these days ‘real’? If not, where did it originate from?

Hello wonderful people of r/Music! I’ve got a bit of a question that you could probably answer and help me.
Recently, I’ve started to listen to ‘Celtic music’ that one can find on Youtube these days; the kind of soothing, medieval-themed music, probably with some harps. Maybe not ‘real’ medieval music, but still lovely stuff. Definitely gets one’s creativity going.
Then I got curious as to whether these music are authentic music from the Celts(which would mainly mean Ireland, I guess?), or not. If not, why is it being called ‘Celtic’? Can’t we just call it ‘medieval’ music or something like that?
To summarize in two questions, it becomes like this:
Q1. Is contemporary ‘Celtic music’ authentic, real music played by the Celts in medieval times?
Q2. If the answer to Q1 is ‘no’, then where did it originate from, and why is it called ‘Celtic’?
Thank you in advance for replying to me, or if you did not, just for reading the question!
Love ya!
