Garageband for windows and very beginners?

I know nothing about music editing and creating and what not. But I have always loved playing around on garageband with loops and the instruments and putting them together. But now im out of school and dont have my school ipad with garageband. I was going to put garageband on my computer but before downloading I found out its only for mac(again I dont know anything about this stuff). So how can I tinker around with loops and instruments to make songs on my windows laptop?(also I dont care at all about recording my voice and instruments, cause I dont play instruments or sing. I just want to play with sounds on my computer)
