Will it ever get to a point where old music will be totally forgotten?

I’ve been listening to lots of revival bands, like Tame Impala was psychedelic revival, Childish Gambino did a P-funk revival album. They all took inspirations from old bands. Tame impala was inspired by the Nazz and Cream, Childish Gambino was inspired by Parliament Funkadelic and a few others I can’t remember. I thought about how in a few years time, maybe there’ll be more funk revival and psych revival bands who take inspiration from old bands, and those bands will have a distinct sound that would make you go “ah that reminds me of the 60s” or 70s or whatever.
But then I thought that those modern bands would have taken inspiration from those old bands until all of it has been taken inspiration from.
So what if it got to a point where all the old music from ages ago was taken inspiration from until you can’t anymore. Will artists and bands in the future start taking inspiration from bands that are famous now? Will how we see Jimi Hendrix or the Beatles nowadays, be the way the people in the future see Tame Impala or Childish Gambino or any other modern band?
What do you think?
