The mastering for Beastie Boys: Licensed to Ill is straight-up insane!

We’re not going to get into my stereo setup or the stupid amount of money I spent on it, but let’s just say it is a few steps above what you would normally find at Best Buy. That said, I have been listening to a metric fuck ton of albums during quarantine and just casually popped Licensed to Ill tonight.

The mastering on this album is absolutely top tier. As in, I might not have heard a rock album this well mastered in my life. The range, clarity, separation, depth, is just on a different level.

Does anyone else feel like this is a standout album?
