Table leaves R94,486 tip at Mossel Bay Restaurant

What would you do if you were tipped R94,486? After a gruelling year of lockdowns and loadshedding, staff at the popular Delfinos Restaurant in Mossel Bay couldn’t believe their eyes today (Thursday 11 November 2021) when a table left the very generous tip.

“A BIG thank you to the table that left us this tip for our hardworking staff. You’ve made a few hearts EXTREMELY happy today” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.

*We now know that the good Samaritan is none other than American Actress and producer Marcia Kimpton who enjoyed lunch there yesterday with a group of people. Kimpton is currently in South Africa to film a production.
