“I am so excited to perform again after such a stressful time – looking forward to enjoying the energy that only a live show can create.” – Louise Carver

‘Take My Hand’, the latest single from Louise, celebrates life and being together again after lockdown and social isolation. As the song lyrics echo “Celebrate this moment, this is happening. Now we take it outside, sip the champagne, unwind. No more stress, let it rest, did your best, people laughing,” and what better way to action them than with a tour. She’ll be joined on stage by the incredibly talented Simphiwe ‘Simz’ Kulla from popular SA Afro Pop/Soul band, ‘The Muffinz’, who also produced the single.

Louise and Simz will be traveling from Joburg up to White River, then Middelburg and on to nine other stunning locations along the tour, including Gauteng and the Eastern & Western Cape.

The ‘Take My Hand’ Tour encompasses all of Louise’s hits including: ‘Empty Fantasy’, ‘Impossible Love’, ’Didn’t Mean To Call’, ‘Home’ and ‘Warrior’, plus new songs off her soon-to-be-released 7th studio album.

Putting two of South Africa’s finest musicians together on stage makes for an exciting evening. Louise started her professional music career at just fifteen when she was signed to her first record label. Her debut single, ‘It Don’t Matter’ went to no. 1 when she was seventeen and Louise has gone on to achieve both national and international success with 16 top ten singles (4 international no. 1’s) and 11 SAMA nominations, as well as winning most Stylist Entertainer (SA Style awards) and most Glamorous Woman (SA Glamour magazine.) She was a 46664 ambassador in 2008 and performed alongside Peter Gabriel and Annie Lennox for the globally aired concert, as well as supported Michael Buble for three nights at Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Simz Kulla, better known for his work with The Muffinz, is a producer, vocalist, composer & songwriter, and his primary instruments are keyboards and guitars. Simz’s music career was born in 2008 when he joined the UJ Choir. This is where he met the other members of The Muffinz, and they went on to release albums and singles which have been received with critical acclaim since 2012. As part of The Muffinz he is a Metro FM award winner, a 6-time SAMA nominee, a Feather award winner, an Arts & Culture Trust Impact Award winner and a Wawela award winner.

Be sure to join Louise Carver for an evening of exquisite music, good friends and a great night out.
