The Miss South Africa Organisation has announced that this year’s pageant will be postponed from August to a later date in 2025.
In a statement on Monday, the Organisation said the decision was taken to ensure “greater alignment with international and other global events.”
As part of its evolving vision, the Organisation plans to broaden the reach and impact of the competition and its contestants.
It also confirmed that its core pillars will be expanded to include entrepreneurship, job creation, cultural awareness, and social cohesion.
“Further announcements regarding the pageant and its new timelines will be made soon,” the statement read.
