The Civil Aviation Authority is investigating after the body of a pilot was found in the wreckage of one of two light aircraft that went missing on Wednesday (15 October 2025) near Howick in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
The aircraft was on a private flight from Secunda in Mpumalanga to Margate when it crashed.
The search for the second missing aircraft will continue this morning.
